First Charcoal Sketch

I'm no artist compared to most people but I have this great appreciation for arts and the like.  I just thought of sharing my first charcoal sketch back in 1999.  This photo was taken by my MacBook Pro's iSight.

Phil Clevenger - Adobe Lightroom Interface Designer

I found this cool video about Phil Clevenger, the man behind the Lightroom user interface. This is about what brought him to Adobe, and what he learned from his time at MetaCreations designing ground-breaking interfaces for software like Bryce and Kai's PhotoSoap. He also gives some hints at some possible directions of the Lightroom UI, and his philosophy around the evolution of user interfaces in general.

Tainted

The spirit within feels deeply unloved,

As the frail body alone keeps standing.

Her own eyes are judging: "She'll never be loved."

Disgusted by the reflection staring,

She walked away and nowhere to be found.
